School Visit Details

The program given by The Reading Fairy is classroom-based for Kindergarten through 2nd grade.  The Reading Fairy visits are 25 to 30 minutes long, with a class size limit of 30 children.  Teachers are required to stay with their classes for the program.  Small group assembly programs of 30 to 45 minutes  for the same age group, of 110 students maximum, are also available.  In addition, a Kindergarten enrichment program is available.  For her presentation, The Reading Fairy will only need a comfy chair.

The cost for The Reading Fairy to visit a school is based on the number of classrooms or assemblies scheduled.  Discounts are available when multiple classrooms in one school are visited during the same day.  Visits to a school district may be arranged to include more than one school, for a second day.

If the school being visited is more than 45 minutes from The Reading Fairy's home base, then standard travel expenses for the visit will be included (mileage or airfare, meals, transportation, and hotel - if more than 3 hours away).
